Best Buy Sends Customers 5 iPads By Mistake, Says To Keep Them Anyway
If this is true, I think I may need stop shopping at Best Buy. I ordered an item from PartStore.com and they shipped the wrong item to me.
I ordered the correct one from the site and the plastic bag even had the correct SKU on it. But the item inside the bag was clearly incorrect.
When I called to complain, they insisted I was wrong and that I could return this three dollar part it at my expense (clearly not worth it) or just re-order the “correct” one from them (and risk getting a yet another mislabeled part)
I do applaud Best Buy in this instance for admitting “Hey, we screwed up so keep the excess iPads.” I just wish they were willing to correct a screw up for my meager $20 PartStore.com transaction (~$3 for the part and ~17 for shipping).
I find myself going to Best Buy less and less because of my PartStore.com experience … I think this news may have finally have weaned me off of them completely.
